哥林多後書 II Corinthians 4:17-18
我們這至暫至輕的苦楚，要為我們成就極重無比、永遠的榮耀。原來我們不是顧念所見的，乃是顧念所不見的；因為所見的是暫時的，所不見
的是永遠的。
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
出埃及記 Exodus 13:21
日間耶和華在雲柱中領他們的路、夜間在火柱中光照他們、使他們日夜都可以行走．
By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar
of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.

我必用清水灑在你們身上，你們就潔淨了。我要潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切的污穢，棄掉一切的偶像。我也要賜給你們一個新心，將新靈放在你們裡面，又從你們的肉體中除掉石心，賜給你們肉心。我必將我的靈放在你們裡面，使你們順從我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。你們必住在我所賜給你們列祖之地。你們要作我的子民，我要作你們的神。我必救你們脫離一切的污穢，也必命五穀豐登，不使你們遭遇饑荒。我必使樹木多結果子，田地多出土產，好叫你們不再因饑荒受外邦人的譏誚。
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
