Receiving Jesus’ Power of Resurrection Through Worship
Romans 8:37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Proclaim Freedom in Christ- Live in Accordance with the Spirit
Romans 7:24 -25
What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.
We are the Temple of God; By Faith, Act Upon the Word of God
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
James 2:17
In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
My Soul Glorifies the Lord and My Spirit Rejoices in God My Savior
46 And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, 49 for the ighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. 50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.
Live by Faith and not by Sight
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
