歌林多前書 14:1-2 你們要追求愛，也要切慕屬靈的恩賜，其中更要羨慕的，是作先知講道（原文作：是說預言；下同）那說方言的，原不是對人說，乃是對神說，因為沒有人聽出來。然而，他在心靈裡卻是講說各樣的奧秘。(I Corinthians 14:1-2) 1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

約翰福音 John 12:26 若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在那裡，服事我的人也要在那裡；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。」Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

馬可福音 Mark 16:16 信而受洗的，必然得救；不信的，必被定罪。Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

以弗所書 6:1-4 你們作兒女的，要在主裡聽從父母，這是理所當然的。「要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世長壽。」這是第一條帶應許的誡命。你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，只要照著主的教訓和警戒養育他們。
